Staying Connected

This year, Junior Achievement’s position as a connector in this community allowed us to achieve a deeper impact than ever before.

To support the educators who worked tirelessly to transform their curriculum, and the parents who become teachers themselves, we stepped up to help fill the temporary gaps in education by providing free, virtual resources. And thanks to the support of thousands of JA volunteers, partners and educators, we adapted and innovated to deliver our programs and experiences virtually, confident that our students will emerge resilient and better equipped to navigate an economically challenging world.

3DE by Junior Achievement

3DE by Junior Achievement launched virtually at the District's Ballou High School in Anacostia and at Prince George’s County’s Potomac High School in Oxon Hill. 3DE's vision is to systematically re-engineer comprehensive high school education to expand opportunity for all students, and it's the launchpad for Ballou's redesign plans to implement new and innovative education models.

Thought Leadership

Junior Achievement continues to be a thought leader in the youth education space, conducting relevant studies and producing trendsetting findings related to how young people are approaching school and careers in our complex, ever-changing world.

JA partnered with the Brian Hamilton Foundation and the Mark Cuban Foundation for "Why Entrepreneurship Now - A Virtual Event for America's Teens," hosted by Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner. The event gave JA kids across America the opportunity to ask their questions about the entrepreneurial journey of some of the country's most experienced entrepreneurs.

critical issues WHITE PAPERS

JA’s white paper series “Making Sense” served as a critical guide for parents and teens to understand COVID-19’s impact on the economy. The white paper series “Why JA? And Why Now?” explored Junior Achievement’s role in connecting all students to economic opportunity, and how young people are responding to uncertainty and inequity in today’s world.
